There are an overwhelming amount of side gigs out there, but which ones are actually worth your time? I’m trying them out so you don’t have to in this new Frugal Foodies series.
Inbox Dollars is a survey and rewards site where you can take surveys and complete tasks for money and cashback offers. It was founded in 2000, and it’s one of the leading online survey sites. So yes, you can trust it!
Sign up is quick and easy. You don’t have to upload a resume and there are no short answer questions. Plus, you get a $5 sign up bonus! (Note: you need to earn $30 minimum to cash out.)
Surveys: Take a survey, earn money! It’s as easy as that. However, don’t expect to rack up those dollars fast. We’re talking $.75-$2 for 15 (or so) minutes of your time. See the screen shot above.
Featured Offers: There is a section of “featured offers” where you can get cash for signing up and completing a task. For example, I could sign up to play Cooking Madness. If I reach a food count of 2,000, I get $12 cash back.
Magic Receipts: This section is valuable for all my couponers out there. You can buy the listed products, upload the receipts, and get cash back.
Referrals: Now…. This section is why you might see people online encouraging you to sign up for inboxdollars. If you invite friends and they use your referral code, you’ll get 30% their lifetime earnings.
Don’t go quitting your job for InboxDollars. The surveys aren’t worth your time, but you might find some intriguing cash back bonuses for games and apps, and you might find grocery cash back deals that tickle your fancy.
Nope. Many people online promote InboxDollars as a simple way to earn extra money. But really they just want to snag 30% of your profits!
