My family buys PINTS of this ice cream when it’s the weekly special….

➡️@smileysicecream is a local ice cream shop in Bridgewater, Virginia that serves up freshly made, cow to cone ice cream.
➡️They have great list of regular ice cream flavors, special monthly flavors, AND special weekly flavors. Death by Chocolate is the GOAT (and I’ve had a lot of ice cream in my life🫠😅😂)

So you can imagine how stoked I was that it was the flavor of the week for my visit home!

I just tend to gravitate towards wanting other things 🤷‍♀️

But when in Hawaii, eating poke is essential. And friends…. this bowl from @poke.market might just kick off a poke phase over here at the Frugal Foodies…

 ❗️the secret is to get off the waterfront❗️ 

Los Claros serves up solid tacos for 30-45 MXN a pop.  
Here are some thoughts:  🔥the fish tacos have a huge piece of perfect fried fish, and the toppings bar is stacked  ❌ the serving of shrimp was very underwhelming… skip these  🔥the jalapeño margarita was absolutely perfect
